How to Schedule a Gynecologist Appointment
The first step to learning how to schedule a gynecologist appointment at the Women’s Clinic of Firelands Physician Group is to select a gynecologist you feel most comfortable with. Learn as much as you can about the doctor, including her credentials, experience and personality, prior to making a decision.
Next, take a look at your calendar to find the best date/time for the appointment. If your appointment will include a pelvic exam, you will want to schedule it for a time when you will not be having your period. Get an idea of what dates may work prior to calling the office so you can tell the staff which day works best.
The last step is to call the Women’s Clinic at 419-557-6763. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., but appointments can be made from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. When you call, the staff member will ask you questions about the reason for your visit, your insurance, and your contact information. Make sure to bring an insurance card or information with you to your first appointment.
