Certified McKenzi therapy

Also known as mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT), the McKenzie method is a philosophy of active patient involvement and education for back, neck, and extremity problems. The key distinction is its initial assessment component—a safe and reliable means to accurately reach a diagnosis and only then make the appropriate treatment plan. Rarely are expensive tests required; Certified MDT clinicians have a valid indicator to know right away whether—and how—the method will work for each patient.

Dizziness and vestibular rehabilitation

Patients receive comprehensive evaluations of balance and vestibular disorders, individualized treatment planning and patient education. Conditions treated include: benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, peripheral vestibular disorders, central nervous system disorders, Meniere’s disease, superior semicircular canal dehiscence, cervicogenic dizziness, oscillopsia, post-concussive disorder, frequent falls and dysequilibrium. Rehabilitation is offered to patients before and after surgery.

Aquatic therapy

Treatments and exercises performed in water for relaxation, fitness, physical rehabilitation, and other therapeutic benefit.

Ergonomic assessment

Ergonomic assessments ensure that a worker's workstation is designed to minimize the risk of injury and maximize productivity. Learn about other services provided through our Occupational Therapy department.

Functional capacity evaluation (FCE)
